Remembering Things You Have To Do

 

Appointments can include anything that you need to do on a given day. To remember appointments, try the following:

 

 

       Write them in a calendar that you keep in a place that you look at often, say, on the kitchen fridge.

 

       Write them in your appointment book.

 

       Get into the habit of checking your calendar and appointment regularly, at least several times each day.

 

       Check items off when you have done them. This will help you keep track of what youíve done and what you still have to do, and will give you a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.

 

While these suggestions may seem obvious, so many people donít use them. And they can be so HELPFUL!We are often stuck on the idea that we should be able to remember everything, all the time. We think that we have to be a Memory Superstar! This is unreasonable. Use the tools that are available for you, this does not mean that you are lazy, it only means that you are only making your life easier for yourself.
